Tickets

Tickets are sold out quickly, so be there in time.

The tickets are personal and you need to bring a LiU-Card for every ticket you want to buy. Every person is allowed to buy maximum 4 tickets. In other words you can buy a ticket for yourself and for three friends given you have LiU-cards for every person you want a ticket for. You don’t need to bring any cash; instead you will receive an invoice by e-mail which has to be paid within 2 days after the tickets are released.

If you don’t pay within 2 days, you will lose your ticket.

Single-Day Tickets

The Single-Day tickets are realesed 5th of May at 8.00 in Colosseum, Linköping and Trappan, Norrköping.

  • Wednesday ticket: 80 kr
  • Thursday ticket: 100 kr
  • Friday ticket: 150 kr
  • Saturday ticket: 150 kr

Concert tickets: Concerto Grosso

  • Price: 50 SEK
  • Tickets can be bought at following places:
    • in the bar at the "kårtege"-building area
    • at Snabbt & Gott outside Folkets Park (from the 10th of May)
    • in the Informationcenter inside Folkets Park

Picking up tickets

  • Linköping

    The tickets are picked up 11th-12th of May between 10-18 in "Knutpunkten". Knutpunkten is located at entrance 12 in the C-house (the entrance closest to Ryd), see map.

  • Norrköping

    The tickets are picked up 11th-12th of May between 10-18 in Trappan.

For those who did not manage to pick up their tickets the 11th-12th of May

It is possible to pick up tickets on Wednesday from 10 pm in the entrance of Trappan, in Norrköping. It is also possible to pick up tickets on Thursday to Saturday in the main entrance of Folkets Park, before opening hours. Do not forget to bring your LiU-card or some other type of ID-card!

SOF2009 - one of the largest and craziest student parties you’ll ever experience!

SOF stands for the student orchestra festival and is a four day long festival which holds 16000 visitors, huge beer tents in gigantic festival area at Folkets Park where student orchestras from all of Europe gather to perform and give students an unforgettable experience. You can expect four days of craziness and fun. The festival is arranged every other year and this year it is held 13th-17th of May. As a foreign exchange student in Linköping, this is an event you simply should not miss.

The festival opens with a party at Norrköping on Wednesday the 13th of May. Transportation is arranged for people in Linköping of course. On Thursday the festival moves to Folkets Park, Linköping where the area is open from 15-03 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Orchestras will be playing during these days both in the city and in Folkets Park together with various other events. On Saturday a massive cortege will be rolling through the heart of Linköping, where around 60 000 of the citiy’s citizens will be crowding the streets to watch the beautiful work of different student organisations.

As with all large parties you can expect a large queue. The tickets for the festival are released 31st of March at 8 o’clock in Colosseum (C-House, Linköping) and Trappan (Norrköping), but most people start standing in line around a day before the tickets are released, so be there in time to be sure to receive tickets.
